This is the official photography book of the Monteverde Preserve in Costa Rica, perhaps the most famous tropical protected area in the world. I served as principal photographer for the Preserve and the Tropical Science Center for several years, and I carried out the photography, caption writing, book design, layout, and pre-press. The book was published in 2006 by the Tropical Science Center (CCT). It's bilingual, with all of the text in Spanish and English. The introduction was written by the Tropical Science Center, and the Preface by legendary Monteverde resident and preserve co-founder Wilford Guindon. Contact the CCT with inquiries.
