One World

Everything on Earth is connected. The beautiful tapestry that was unfathomably wild and spectacular for hundreds of millions of years has been torn to shreds in the last 150 years, but still everything is connected - all people, all creatures, all ecosystems.
Canada Geese build nests in Alaska and eat grass in parks in Oregon a few months later. Wild foxes roam the forests of Costa Rica just as they do behind houses in suburban America. Giant Oak trees prosper in tropical jungles and on old farms in Virginia. Yew trees grow in the English countryside and the ancient forests of the Pacific Northwest. Tropical birds fly thousands of miles and use tiny scraps of old-growth forest near the Washington DC Beltway, and Snow Geese fly from Siberia and stop over to rest in high-desert wetlands in California.
This as of yet published book presents a variety of my photographs from tropical and temperate locations, with a focus on the connectivity and continuity of the natural world. I carried out the design using Adobe InDesign. The flipbook presents a 75-page sample from the book. If you're an art director, agent, publisher, or editor, contact me to discuss this project.
